2008-2009
Livestock Judging:The B team was high team in the swine division. The team placed 4th overall. Members were Jeremy Milner, Maggie Schotte-5th, Shelby Bargman and Jessica Roady. The A team placed second and team members were Garrett Lister-3rd, Zach Schotte-7th, Jake Felty, Taylor Schotte.
Super CDE Day:The Ag. Communications team placed 3rd with Garrett Lister placing first and Tyler Lyhane placing 3rd. The A&B team of Ag. Sales placed first with individual honors going to A team members Greg Howard-9th and Nathan Vogt placing 10th. B team member Nathan Vogt placed 5th.
2009 Hutch Aggie Days: The Floriculture team placed 8th and the Livestock Team was 6th place. Floriculture members were Kassie Tjaden, Lacy Stock and Sara Schell. Livestock members were Jake Felty, Zach Schotte, Taylor Schotte and Jeremy Milner.
Meats Judging: The A team placed 4th and B team placed 5th. Greg Howard placed 9th on the A team.
2009 District Selection Day: The following students had their state degree applications approved and will be receiving the State FFA Degree this May: Shalynn Roady, Ali Voet, Jake Felty, Mike Peterson, Zach Schotte, and Garrett Lister. The State FFA Degree is the highest award the state can bestow upon its membership. In addition, Garrett Lister is a finalist for District Star in Agriculture Business and Zach Schotte is a finalist for District Star in Agriculture Production. Taylor Schotte
was named Star Greenhand in Agriculture Production. The following students received 1st place in their respective proficiency award areas: Garrett Lister-Agriculture Service, Phillip Wilson-Grain Production Entrepreneurship and Diversified Crop Entrepreneurship, Zach Schotte-Diversified Livestock Entrepreneurship, Beef Entrepreneurship, and Swine Entrepreneurship, Ali Voet-Diversified Crop Placement, Bailey McMillian-Vegetable Crop Entrepreneurship, Jeremy Milner-Specialty Animal Entrepreneurship, Mark Heiman-Agricultural Mechanics Placement, Nathan Vogt-Oil Crop, and Andy Pralle-Grain Placement. The following received 2nd place: Phillip Wilson in Forage, Mark Howell in Beef Entrepreneurship, and Greg Howard in Beef Placement. Receiving 3rd place was Jacob Felty in Diversified Livestock.

2008 Beef Expo-The Marysville FFA Beef Expo team placed 1st overall, with Jake Felty placing 3rd and Garrett Lister placing 5th. Other team members were Taylor Schotte, Jeremy Milner, Nathan Vogt, and Michael Peterson.
2008 Leadership School: The Marysville FFA Chapter placed 1st overall at Leadership School. The Officer Team of Garrett Lister, Shalynn Roady, Ali Voet, Jacob Felty, Bailey McMillian, and Zach Schotte placed 1st if FFA Ritual and 3rd in FFA Information. Garrett Lister was named Master President and placed 1st on the Information Test. The Parliamentary Procedure Team of Garrett Lister, Zach Schotte, Bailey McMillian, Taylor Schotte, Greg Howard, and Morgan Wright placed 2nd, earning a trip to state competition. The Greenhand A team swept the contest, placing 1st in all three events. Team members were Maggie Schotte, Shelby Bargmann, Addie Wassenberg, Alex Winkler, Katie Jo Parks, and Eddie Creek. Bargmann was named Master Vice-President, Winkler was named Master Treasurer, and Parks was named Master Reporter. Schotte placed 2nd in Information, followed by Parks in 3rd. The Greenhand B team placed 1st in the B Division, placing 1st in Parliamentary Procedure, 2nd in Ritual, and 1st in FFA Information. Team members were Brett Chrome, 2nd in Information, Haylee Eck, Master Treasurer, Mark Hawkins, Master Secretary, Hunter Svoboda, Master Reporter, Dyllon Holle, 4th in Information, Jerry Birdsley, and Trevor Merrill, 5th in Information. The Greenhand C Team placed 4th overall, placing 4th in Par-Law, 5th in Information, and 4th in Ritual. Team members were Chaye Poley, Trevor Lee, 7th in Information, Austyn Carson, Dawn Greenlee, Jacey Mongtomery, and Trevor Moser.
2008 Dairy Judging: The A-team placed 11th and the B team placed 6th.
2008 Horse Judging Contest: The Horse Judging Team of Jessica Roady, Taylor Schotte, Morgan Wright, Shelby Bargman, Shalynn Roady, and Trevor Lee placed first at this year's event. Jessica Roady placed second, Taylor Schotte was third, and Morgan Wright tied for tenth.
2008 Nursery and Landscape: The Nursery and Landscape team of Kassi Tjaden, Abby Pacha, Sara Schell, Lacey Stock, Megan Voet, Morgan Wright, and Rebecca Curtis placed fourth at this year's event.
2008 Land Judging Contest: This years Land Judging Team placed fourth at the district event. Members were Taylor Schotte, Jessica Roady, Morgan Wright, Rebecca Curtis, Nick Brockmann, Taylor White, Isaac Busch, and Caleb Jones.
2008 Greenhand Conference-Maggie Schotte, freshmen, tied for fourth place in the Greenhand Information Test at St. Mary's on September 16th. Eddie Creek was one point away from placing in the top ten. Congrats to these members for placing at Greenhand Conference 2008: All Hands on Deck!
