This course will explore the sciences involved in plant production from germination to harvest and beyond. The soils portion of the course will take an in depth look at the factors involved in soil science and soil conservations affect on the enviorment. This will be a laboratory course.
Students successfully completing this course will:
1. Explore the science of soil.
2. Study plant growth and development.
3. Learn how plants affect the envirorment.
4. Gain knowledge of nutritional needs of plants.
5. Study the factors that affect soil conservation.
