Prerequisite: Intro to Ag science and FFA and/or Instructor Permission

Grade: 10

This course gives students the opportunity to learn about the factors involved in the production of agriculture goods. Areas covered range from soils to reproduction to the manufacturing of equipment.

Students successfully completing this course will:

1. Understand the importance of soil to man.

2. Gain skills in planning, organizing and completing a project.

3. Be introduced to factors affecting the production of grain crops.

4. Learn about animal production from nutrition to reproduction.

5. Understand environmental issues and why they are a concern in agriculture.
