Class of 1960 Endowment Fund Aiming for GOAL!
Can you please help?
The Marysville High School Class of 1960 Endowment Fund was begun in 1985 after Bob Pache challenged the classmates at our 25th reunion to "give something back to our school."
Since then, over $84,000 has been raised through food stands, recycling, donations and memorials. The class now has a new challenge and goal. The goal for the class is to raise $100,000 by September 2010.
The class of 1960 donates the money to buy items for the teachers at Marysville to help them teach in the classroom. Only the interest is available for purchases. To obtain an item for their classroom, a teacher makes a request to the Endowment Fund board explaining their needs and attesting that the district has been unable to provide for these items. The intent is to enrich the classroom experience for all students.
Through 2008, they have given over $36,000 to Marysville High School.
For more information or to donate, please talk to Leanna Stenglemeier or call Bob Pache at 562-2749.
