Penny War Benefits Food Pantry

Marysville Junior/Senior High School held a Penny War last week to benefit the Marshall County Food Pantry. The War lasted February 8 - 15 and raised $2,714.18.
Class totals are as follows:
7th $157.95
8th $353.23
10th $52.61
9th $89.53
12th $944.72
11th $1,066.31
Mrs. Gay Frazee, MHS FCCLA sponsor, organized the fundraiser. Each class raised money individually and competed to win a movie day. Seniors lost for the first time in seventeen years, with Juniors as Penny War Champs. There were also donation buckets in the high school and junior high offices.
