Initiated by a lot of discussion about the upcoming presidential election,Tim Cramer, an 8th grader in Mr. Mitchell's American History Class, came up the idea of a mock election for our students. He created the ballots, the voting booth, the ballot box, and the "I voted" tags. Mr. Naaf facilitated the registration process. The results of the mock election held yesterday in the Academy were: Senator Obama received 58% of the vote. Senator McCain received 39% of the vote. There was one vote for the Reform Party and one vote for the Independent Party.
