MHS High Netters Place 2nd at Sabetha Invitational

The Marysville High School volleyball team traveled to Sabetha this Saturday for their fourth tournament of the year. They started off their first round of pool play by beating Concordia in three games. Then the girls lost to the Hayden Wildcats in two games. They took Hiawatha in just two games which seeded them 2nd in tournament play.
First off they played Holton and won in three games. Then fell to the Hayden Wildcats again to place 2nd in the tournament.
The girls have placed 2nd at Nemaha Valley, 1st at Concordia, 3rd in Marysville, and 2nd at Sabetha. Saturday, October 20 the volleyball team will travel to Chapman for sub-state. Their first game is at 3:00 pm against Clay Center.
