Class of 1972 Reunion Held

The Marysville High School Class of 1972 met for their 35-year reunion on July 27 and 28, 2007. A total of 41 classmates met for activities over the weekend. Thirty-five classmates gathered at the Wagon Wheel on Friday evening. The Marysville Country Club was the site of Saturday’s events. Twelve classmates played 18 holes of golf on Saturday morning and thirty-five met on Saturday evening. Hors d’oeuvres were served and music was provided by Gary Phillips.
Bob Cammel conducted a short business meeting and those present decided to meet again in five years. Sharon Vogelsberg reported that classmates live in 14 states and 1 foreign country. Eighty-two of the classmates still live in Kansas. Deceased class members were remembered. They are David Boone, Lucy Nietfeld Jenkins, Paul Carleen, Eddie Detimore Barnett, and Steve McKeever.
The committee who organized the reunion was Cammel, Vogelsberg, Patti Ring Larkin, Kate Tryon Byers, Larry Shum and Jerry Temeyer.
